Two decades of caring for the youngest

About us

Čuperak Preschool is part of a network of private kindergartens and has spent two decades following the youngest through their first steps toward independence, friendship and knowledge. Our space is designed to give children a safe, pleasant and stimulating environment for play, learning and rest.

We work according to the new Foundations of the Preschool Education Programme "Years of Ascent," which puts the child at the centre of learning — through play, exploration and personal experience. Our programme is further enriched by long-standing partnerships with the NTC learning system of Dr. Ranko Rajović and Montessori workshops, which nurture attention, logical thinking and independence in our little ones.

02 · Our space

Our space

Čuperak Preschool offers a spacious, thoughtfully organised space designed to give children a safe, pleasant and stimulating environment for play, learning and rest. All of our rooms are air-conditioned, furnished with quality child-sized furniture, and filled with materials that nurture creativity, motor skills and curiosity.

Entrance and reception area

Entrance and reception area

At the entrance to our institution is an office area where parents can take care of everything important — exchanging information, arranging enrollment and other administrative matters. Past the office is the reception area — a warm, cheerful place where little ones leave their coats and shoes, each on their own hook and in their own cubby. This is where their everyday adventure begins — a step into a world of play, friendship and learning.

Rooms for working with children

Nursery room

Nursery room

This room is specially adapted for our youngest members. It is fitted with soft anatomical mats so that every bit of play is safe. All furniture, toys and materials are carefully chosen to encourage the development of motor skills, coordination and sensory stimulation. The room is air-conditioned, so little ones are comfortable at any time of year, and is organised to offer both space for free play and a quiet corner for rest.

Kindergarten room

Kindergarten room

This room is a hub of creative workshops, discovery and teamwork. It features a lit digital table, crayons, paints, paper, a variety of creative sets and natural materials for hands-on exploration. All corners and radiators are protected for complete safety, while specially designed UV curtains and air conditioning keep the room cool on hot days.

A dedicated reading corner offers children a selection from our rich book collection, built up over two decades. The room is divided into an area for group work and a "creative corner" where imagination and ideas come to life. The tables and chairs are specially designed for comfort and correct posture, because we know how important comfort is during longer activities.

Pre-school room

Pre-school room

This room is the hub of school-readiness preparation — a place where children learn, create and build independence. It is furnished with ergonomic desks and chairs, a well-stocked library and a wide range of educational materials. It also has kits for workshops, experiments and creative projects, with dedicated areas set aside for displaying children's work. With UV-protective curtains and air conditioning, the room offers a pleasant, motivating environment for learning.

Physical activity area

Physical activity area

Alongside the classrooms, children get to enjoy a space dedicated to motor development and fitness: modern trampolines — a favourite spot for play and free time, a foam-ball pool for fun, safe play, a zip line for our little adventurers, and a sports court for gymnastics, team games and extracurricular physical activities.

Outdoor areas

Small yard

Small yard

Right by the entrance is an enclosed yard covered in eco-friendly artificial grass, letting children safely walk barefoot, lie down and relax on warm days. It's fitted with a shade canopy and is used for various outdoor workshops and activities.

Large yard

Large yard

Our main yard is a true kingdom of play and imagination. Spacious and covered in eco-friendly artificial grass, it offers a safe space for running, socialising and creative outdoor play — giant LEGO blocks, a ball pit, a wooden playhouse, ride-on trains and cars. A large sun-shade net means the yard can be enjoyed throughout the day.

03 · Program & groups

Program

At Čuperak we work according to the new Foundations of the Preschool Education Programme "Years of Ascent," which puts the child at the centre of the learning and development process. This modern approach nurtures curiosity, creativity, independence and a spirit of exploration, with learning taking place through play, hands-on activities and experience.

Through numerous creative workshops, work with natural materials, and artistic and exploratory projects, children develop knowledge, imagination, social skills and a love of learning. Our program is further enriched by long-standing partnerships with the NTC learning system of Dr. Ranko Rajović and Montessori workshops, which bring special benefits: development of attention, logical thinking, fine and gross motor skills, and independent, responsible behaviour.

04 · Extracurricular activities

Extracurricular activities

Alongside the regular program, Čuperak also offers a range of extracurricular activities that enrich children's experience, build new skills and create unforgettable moments. These activities run regularly throughout the school year and are not included in the standard kindergarten fee; they are delivered in partnership with experts and partners of our institution.

Gymnastics

Gymnastics

Designed for children aged 3 to 7, this is far more than ordinary exercise — it's a foundation for healthy, proper development. In partnership with "Delfin" Kraljevo, the program is led by professionally trained coaches who use play and tailored exercises to build children's coordination, balance, flexibility and strength.

In winter, training takes place on our courts, built from safe, specially designed materials, with professional equipment, while in summer gymnastics moves to the yard, where children exercise in the fresh air. Beyond physical development, gymnastics also nurtures children's confidence, discipline and teamwork.

Swimming

Swimming

Swimming is one of the most beneficial activities for children's development, as it strengthens muscles, improves endurance and builds confidence in the water. In partnership with "Delfin" Kraljevo and their licensed coaches, we organise swimming lessons using specialised equipment (kickboards, floatation belts, other aids).

In winter, lessons are held at the indoor pool of the "Mineral" hotel, with transport provided and weekend time slots, while in summer training takes place at the city pool. The program is intended for children aged 4 to 7, and every child is assessed by a coach to ensure complete safety and an individual approach.

English language

English language

Čuperak partners with the Go Kids school from Čačak, creators of the YouGotIt program, to offer English classes held every Wednesday. Following an extremely positive response from the children, we're happy to continue this partnership.

The program is built on natural learning through play, dialogue and topics children find interesting, without rote memorisation or dry grammar drills. Experienced instructors encourage children to communicate spontaneously and with confidence, with additional STEAM activities enriching the classes. Our goal is to give children quality, modern English-language learning through fun, exploration and joy.

Cultural & educational activities

In line with the school calendar and current cultural events in the city, Čuperak organises outings to activities that enrich children's educational and cultural experience.

"Kvarta" Cinema

Screenings suited to children's age during regular attendance.

Kraljevo National Theatre

Carefully chosen educational and entertaining performances, accompanied by our teachers.

"Stefan Prvovenčani" Library

Workshops, meetings with authors and story time.

We maintain long-standing partnerships with these institutions so that children can develop a love of art and the written word — we regularly follow their events calendar and content suited to children's age, and our little ones take part in various guest visits and workshops organised there.

05 · Day trips

Day trips

Alongside our regular extracurricular activities, Čuperak also organises special one-off events that enrich our little ones' experience. These are most often day trips, such as a visit to "Dino Park" adventure park in Kruševac — a day full of play and exploration with organised transport and a meal, Aqua Park in Jagodina — a summer adventure accompanied by coaches from the "Delfin" swimming school, or Čačak Zoo — an educational encounter with animals and workshops on nature and ecology. There's also the "Griva" Equestrian Club in Čačak, Šarengrad, and hiking on Mount Ćava.

06 · Camps

Camps

At Čuperak, we believe camps are a precious opportunity for children to step outside their everyday surroundings, meet new people and build skills through experience and play. From every camp we've taken part in, our little ones have come home full of impressions, new knowledge and friendships. Programs are carefully chosen to be safe, educational and age-appropriate, with activities led by professional instructors and teachers.

NTC Camp · Kopaonik–Gučevo

We've taken part several times in the NTC camp led by Dr. Ranko Rajović, which combines a mountain stay with the development of attention, memory, logical thinking and creativity. Children take part in brain teasers, logic games, team challenges and sports activities in the fresh air. Part of what makes this camp special is that knowledge is gained spontaneously, through play and socialising.

Super Raspust Camp

This dynamic summer camp gives children an unforgettable holiday experience. Through sports games, creative workshops, nature exploration, competitions and shared excursions, our little ones build independence, teamwork and creativity. We've visited many times and always come back with a bundle of smiles, new knowledge and memories.

Skouras Camp · Greece (older children)

Skouras camp is one of the most well-known international children's camps in Greece, attended by our older children. At a beautiful seaside resort, participants take part in beach sports, swimming, rowing, dance and creative workshops, socialising with peers from different countries. Beyond the fun, the camp gives children a chance to discover new cultures and try basic communication in foreign languages — all through play and shared activities.

Ski School (older children)

Our Ski School, run in partnership with "Delfin" Kraljevo, is intended for older children and takes place every year during the winter break. Locations such as Mokra Gora, Kopaonik and Golija provide ideal conditions for a first attempt at skiing or for improving technique. Professional instructors work in small groups, adapting the pace to each child, and alongside skiing the program includes games in the snow, competitions and evening socialising. Our little ones have taken part here many times too, returning with great confidence and wonderful memories.

07 · Parents

Parenting School

Our institution recently held a Parenting School — an educational series of workshops designed to give parents support, knowledge and practical tools for strengthening their relationship with their children. The program covered two main themes:

General aspects of parenting

Planned or intentional parenting, partnership-based parenting, upbringing and parenting styles.

Developmental needs & communication

Understanding a child's basic needs and developmental-psychological traits, preventing and resolving parent–child conflict, with special attention to building parental authority.

The workshops were run in an interactive format, through activities that encourage active learning, the exchange of experiences and solving challenges together. Through guided activities and real-world examples, participants had the chance to pick up useful strategies and techniques for everyday use.

If there's enough interest, we plan to run the Parenting School again and open it to new participants. We invite everyone interested to follow our announcements and be part of the next cycle.
